Over generations, bedtime stories have been one the best-known vehicles for handing down virtues to our children. These stories are fun and have a message of morality. Tailor and Mischievous Mouse brings to life one such timeless story. Originally recited in Hindi, the book is a rendition of the story in form of a rhyme adapted to current context. The mouse in the story dreams about becoming a king. To achieve his dreams, he is willing to do whatever is needed to achieve his goals, even if it means doing the wrong thing. Is it ok to dream big? Do ends justify the means? How do you go about fulfilling your dreams? The book uncovers these questions with the story of the mischievous mouse. I explore more of this idea with my son, in our podcast : Kid-a-gility.
